In it's 4th consecutive year, the Craig Brzezinski HOPE Golf Tournament continues to inspire and impact the lives of children in the Austin Area affected by severe trauma. This year's tournament raised over $18,000 for local Austin non-profit Helping Hand Home for Children.
Started by Craig's brother - Cary Brzezinski - shortly after Craig's passing from cancer in 2014, the Craig Brzezinski Hope Foundation exists to help families that have been affected by the terminal/serious illness or death of a parent. “Craig was a brother and my best friend and he led by example and showed me what faith, courage, perseverance and a love for Jesus Christ looks like. I’m forever grateful for our time together and he will never be forgotten.” states Cary on the foundation's website. The CB HOPE Golf Tournament was first held in October of 2013 to raise money for the Brzezinski family as they faced mounting medical expenses. Cary chose to continue hosting the tournament each year to honor Craig's legacy and help more families in need facing similar circumstances.
This year, in an effort to help more children and families through a local and reputable organization, CBHF named Helping Hand Home for Children the primary benefactor of the 4th Annual Golf Tournament. Since 1893, Helping Hand Home for Children has provided a safe haven for children healing from physical, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect or abandonment through their foster care & adoption agency and residential treatment center.

TimberTown Austin and it's managing partner, Steve Anthony, have been supporters of both the Golf Tournament and Helping Hand Home, so we were thrilled to see these two incredible causes partner together. As a close friend of Craig and a foster parent myself through HHH, I loved being able to support both causes through one fun and positive event.
Not only was TimberTown a tournament sponsor, many of our clients and vendors came to golf or sponsored a hole or team. We are so grateful for all those who joined us at or donated to this event and are excited to have presented Helping Hand Home with a check for $18,378.58!
