It’s official: TimberTown Atlanta is open and making waves in Marietta, GA. To celebrate the newest location of the Outdoor Living Lumber Yard, TimberTown hosted a Grand Opening event on June 3rd at their new facility right off I-75 near the Canton Road Conn NE exit.
The Grand Opening included tours of the new showroom and warehouse, product demonstrations, vendor booths, delicious smoked barbecue provided by Boise Cascade, and a special guest appearance by 680 The Fan’s Chris Dimino. The event was kicked off by a ribbon cutting provided by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce.
As you stepped through the doors of the TimberTown Atlanta showroom, you saw a noticeable excitement as homeowners and builders walked around. To the left of the entrance is the largest indoor decking display in the south. That’s good to know when its mid-July and you want to compare decking materials without getting a sunburn or heat stroke! TimberTown’s showroom includes displays of Pressure Treated Pine, Brazilian Hardwoods Ipe, Tigerwood and Garapa, Ceramic Grills by Kamado Joe, and Composite Decking Brands Fiberon, Trex, and TimberTech. The best part is TimberTown has experts there to walk you through the process of picking the right decking product for you.
To the right of the showroom entrance is all the hardware, power tools, and stains you’ll need to complete your outdoor project. TimberTown Atlanta is truly a one-stop-shop for all your outdoor living projects.
After the showroom tour, attendees entered the impressive 45,000 square foot warehouse where you could visit the booths and see product demonstrations of brands like Trex, Fiberon, Yellawood, Simpson, Fortress, and many others. At the end of the booths, 680 The Fan’s morning show host Chris Dimino was signing autographs, talking sports, and showing his support for TimberTown Atlanta. After visiting the booths you could go grab a plate of some of the best smoked brisket and sausage around cooked by the Boise Cascade “Pit Crew” who had been smoking meats since the night before.
The Grand Finale of the event was the “Outdoor Retreat” giveaway, which included a Kamado Joe Ceramic Grill, Yeti Hopper Cooler, and money towards a new deck. About 250 people entered to win the Outdoor Retreat, which totaled $3,000 worth of prizes. The winner was Ryan Jarrett from Dallas, GA. He was so excited to win since he and his family spend a lot of time outside on the porch of their home.
All in all, the TimberTown Atlanta Grand Opening was a huge success and General Manager Tim Watson is excited to provide superb service and quality materials from friendly people to the Atlanta Metro area.
