Art Studio and Gallery Barn Renovation
The Carlton Edwards Architects and HH Ventures partnered with TimberTown Nashville for their Art Studio and Gallery Barn Renovation in Franklin, Tennessee. We at TimberTown were honored to supply the Clear Vertical Grain Rainier Plank that helped support the custom design style of the architects while enhancing the custom home building strengths of the builders.
This creative space required beautifully modified timber products to provide a one-of-a-kind, artistic environment that the Brentwood and Franklin areas of Tennessee are famous for. Lush views surround the barn and provide a natural haven for the gallery. Although the natural look and feel of the modified wood barn looks organic, the Rainier Plank siding is also strong and durable so the gallery will remain beautiful in all seasons, for many years to come.
The Art Studio and Gallery Barn environment is not only a place to display art in a relaxed space, it is also a place to create.
Perhaps the most important aspect of the studio gallery is that the renovation masterpiece blends in with the natural look and feel of the surrounding area, complete with a stunning modified Clear Vertical Grain Rainier Plank siding exterior, and an interior of exposed beams and buttresses to add to the charm, of course.
Natural light flows through the space to inspire creativity and provides an opportunity to display works of art, in traditional gallery fashion, with a Tennessee flare.
Thanks to the thoughtful planning of Carlton Edwards Architects and construction of HH Ventures, the studio and gallery come to life.
A closer look at the studio's Clear Vertical Grain Rainier Plank siding; the barn facade is lined from floor to ceiling with Rainier Plank siding. From the moment one sees the Art Studio and Gallery Barn, inspiration abounds for artists and art enthusiasts alike. The Art Studio and Gallery is more than a building, it is actually a work of art.
The interior and exterior combines the overall look and feel of classic Tennessee with the modern design features of modified wood. Modified wood is sourced from sustainable managed forests that is structurally changed to take on the properties of domestic and and tropical hardwoods materials. The modification creates tremendously durable products without the deforestation. Learn more about TimberTown's entire Modified product line in this free guide.
