Mueller Park Bridge

Mueller is a modern planned community that is home to many young families. Once the home of Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, the eco-conscious mixed-use development now includes single-family homes and apartment complexes as well as chain retailers and restaurants, plus offices and film studios. As the community expands, the need for more walking/jogging trails arose. Austin Deck Company was contracted to build an eye-popping bridge across a pond connecting two bike paths. Not only does this bridge have a unique shape, but it is uniquely built using Ipe, the most dense exotic hardwood used for decking. The durability of Ipe means if the pond floods the bridge will maintain its structural integrity.
