It Pays To Be Dense

There's no doubt hardwoods outlast lumber products like Cedar or Treated Pine; here's how we prove it.

Using the Janka Hardness Test, we can determine hardwoods like Ipe are up to eight times harder than their decking counterparts like Cedar, Redwood, and Southern Yellow Pine. The extra density also means they are less likely to warp or bow over time.
