Timbertown Austin Teams Up with Helping Hand Home for a Holiday Event

The holidays are right around the corner, and we’re sure everyone is busy getting things ready for the big day. A holiday must for all of us at Timbertown Austin is connecting with local organizations that help children in need. That’s why we’re encouraging everyone to join us in participating in this year’s Annual Foster Care Holiday Party for the children in Helping Hand Home’s Foster and Adoption Program.

Helping Hand Home for Children

For 120 years Helping Hand Home has been giving children who have suffered severe abuse and neglect a safe haven and hope for the future. The organization provides for all their needs from therapeutic treatment to education to placement in foster and adoptive homes. Through their programs these children learn to trust adults again so they may have a chance at growing up in a stable home environment. All this wouldn’t be possible without the help of corporations, foundations and individuals who are dedicated to giving these children hope for a brighter future. We hope there’s still room on your Christmas list for one or two more presents for a Helping Hand Home child.

How You Can Help with the Helping Hand Home Holiday Party

Anyone who works with Timbertown Austin knows that we are all about building relationships and providing a helping hand whenever we can. Helping Hand Home (HHH) is an organization that is close to our hearts, and reminds us we can always do more to give back to those that are less fortunate through no fault of their own.

This year we’re helping to organize and fund raise for the Annual HHH Foster Care Holiday Party on December 16th. It’s a chance for these HHH kids to have a little fun and experience the magic of Christmas.

Timbertown Austin customers can get in on the giving in lots of different ways this holiday. We’re collecting both donations and toys for Helping Hand Home here at our Pflugerville office .

You can choose to make a cash donation or add a donation amount onto any purchase. If you prefer to do a little shopping instead you can bring new, unopened, unwrapped toys by our office (see suggested items below) or “Take a Star”. Those who “Take a Star” will receive the name of a child in need at Helping Hand Home and the items that are on their Christmas wish list. Once your shopping is done you can bring the unwrapped gifts by our office so we can make sure your star has a few gifts under the Christmas tree this year.

Thank you in advance for all your help in making this the best Christmas a child has ever had! To learn more about Helping Hand Home for Children, please visit www.helpinghandhome.org.
