Like many Texans, everyone at Timbertown Austin loves Texas BBQ. We follow Daniel Vaughn, the Barbecue Editor at Texas Monthly. We’re very excited about the new BBQ radio show that’s launching on KUT 90.5FM. Now we’re adding to the barbecue craze with a monthly cooking demonstration of our own.

The last Friday of every month Chef Chano fires up the Kamado Joe and shows guests different ways to cook on the grill. And that is no small undertaking since there are so many options. Each month something totally different is conjured up by Chef Chano using a multitude of fresh ingredients, meats and seasonings. He takes guests through the cooking process step-by-step, filling them in on ways that he uses the Kamado Joe to grill, smoke, sear and even bake foods.
